Conan, you're such a character!
My goal was to paint him with the sun shining on his blood stained sword and sunburned skin.

I used MSP Spattered Crimson for the base coat. Then, successive layers of Spattered Crimson / Pumpkin Orange, pure Pumpkin Orange and Pumpkin Orange / Sun Yellow. I didn't like the result so I glazed all over with Spattered Crimson, just enough so all the color will blend together without being completely covered up. I finally highlighted with Pumpkin Orange, Sun Yellow and Ivory. I also used Sun Yellow and Ivory glazing to blend colors on the sword.

Autumnus the Red Wizard

With the heart of summer and the breath of winter bagged and attached to his staff, his sack full of fungus powder he travels the forests altering Nature herself. He colors the leaves and fades the flowers, you may meet him in a garden of life, he's perpetuating the endless cycle. His eyes are the blaze of a dwindling amber Sun, he's Autumnus the Red Wizard, the Archmage of Fall.

Tharn Helmsunder the Norse Cleric

Tharn was sculpted by Todd Harris.
He was released in 2002 by Reaper Miniatures.

I painted the Midgard snake on his shield and

Cinder the Red Dragon, Reaper Miniatures 10014

Here is my interpretation of Cinder, The Red Dragon from Reaper Miniatures.
It was sculpted by Sandra Garrity and I mounted it on a scratch built resin base.
The treasure piles are also from Reaper Miniatures.

Here's a picture of the various steps of creating the base;
the original putty model in the middle,
the silicone mould on top and the transparent resin cast at the bottom.
