In Greek mythology, Cerberus, often referred to as the hound of Hades, is a multi-headed dog that guards the gates of the Underworld to prevent the dead from leaving. He was the offspring of the monsters Echidna and Typhon, and was usually described as having three heads, a serpent for a tail, and snakes protruding from multiple parts of his body. Cerberus is primarily known for his capture by Heracles, the last of Heracles' twelve labours.

 

I was inspired by Simon Eckert's artwork for the choice of colors.

Gothic church interior with wall frames

Here we are. These are pictures of the interior walls of my gothic church finally completed. I designed and added 3d printed wall frames around each picture I previously glued on the walls. I used Inventor, Blender and Chitubox software as well as an Elegoo Mars 2 pro printer to make these frames. The frames were printed in resin in 0.05mm thick layers.

77640, Graveyard Entryway

 Reaper Miniatures converted 77640, Graveyard Entryway sculpted by Bobby Jackson. I added a transparent membrane and successive coats of Mod Podge tinted with MSP HD 29802, Brilliant red paint to create a bloody portal.

 

Here, I illuminated the portal with a red LED to create this glowing effect.

And here, you can see work in progress of the ripples taking form as I apply successive layers of Mod Podge. In total, I applied eight coats on each side of the membrane.

3d printed Wall frame

These are 3d printed wall frames I designed to add around the pictures I glued on my gothic church. I used Inventor, Blender and Chitubox software as well as an Elegoo Mars 2 pro printer to make these frames. I have already started to make different sized frames for the other pictures.

Both frames were printed in resin with 0.05mm thick layers.

They are painted with acrylic, weathered with ink and sealed with matte varnish. The inside of the frames are 17mm x 45mm and they are 3mm thick.

Harrowgate graveyard WIP

Hey everyone, here are some pictures of my Harrowgate graveyard work in progess. Each part of this set was sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. I only added 3d printed gothic style spiers, designed by gothic.things, on both sides of the gate. The characters, monsters, statues and sarcophagus are all from Reaper Miniatures.

These terrain piece are available as a set under sku: 77529 Harrowgate graveyard set. They can also be found individually under sku: 77527 fence gate, 77530 short fences, 77531 fence posts, 77532 long fence and 77731 gargoyle finials. There are also other finals available.
