Gothic Church Bell Tower (first)

 A year after I started printing it, part-time, I finally started painting my gothic church. I will be updating this album as the project goes. The modular model of this gothic church comes from Alessandro Damiano's Kickstarter. I printed it on a Prusa i3 MK3S printer and on an Elegoo mars 2 pro printer. This majestic terrain piece was design by Alessandro Damiano from Gothic Things.

 

Here's the first bell towers completely assembled next to Sir Forscale a 28mm scale model by Reaper Miniatures.

 

 

In order to be able to paint the inside of the bell tower, I glued the pieces together only after painting them. There are eleven pieces in all; the bottom of the tower, the intermediate floor, the top of the tower including the gable, the ear, the bell and its support as well as five windows.

 

This bell tower is 30 cm high and 8 cm wide. That's 12 inches by 3.25 inches approx.

 

The Bone Beige Basecoat is perfect for bringing out the weathering effects on the stone.

 

 

Here's the list of colors I used for the stones; Army Painter Skeleton Bone primer (basecoat), Reaper MSP 9029 Earth brown stains, Reaper MSP 9110 Oiled Leather stains, Citadel Agrax Earthshade shading, Reaper MSP 9659 Ginger Cookie drybrush, Army Painter Skeleton Bone drybrush, Reaper MSP HD 29825 Tusk Ivory final highlight.

 

And for the bronze roof tiles I used; Reaper MSP 9037 Pure Black basecoat, Vallejo 70998 Bronze basecoat, Reaper MSP HD 29848 Jungle Camo stains, Reaper MSP 9012 Pale Green mix.

 

 

The level of detail on each piece is very impressive and a real joy to paint.
