Cathedral 21

The base was now fully covered with sand.

The building and the dead tree were placed on the base for an overview.

I stared painting the bare foam with black acrylic paint.

The bare foam melt when put in contact with spray paint, so all the bare foam as to be painted with acrylic paint first.

All contour foam was painted with care not to leave bare surface unpainted.

Here is an overview with the building on it's base.

Pads were screwed in the wooden base to avoid damage the surface on which the model will eventually be displayed.
